New year, new calendar, new format. The 2012 Skyrunner® World Series calendar offers a distance for every runner with stand-alone circuits where both Vertical and Ultra champions will have a taste of the glory (and prize money).

Five all-time greats make up the main section with a choice of two out of three compulsory races in the other three sections for the Skyrunner® World Series champion title.

Skyrunner® World Series champion titles are awarded to competitors with the highest points based on the sum of the three best main race results plus any two compulsory* races in the Vertical  Kilometer®, SkyRace® or Ultra SkyMarathon® Series. 

Vertical Kilometer®, SkyRace® and Ultra SkyMarathon® Series champion titles are awarded to competitors with the highest points based on the sum of the three best results.
Ranking points in the final races will be increased by 20%.
Ranking points breakdown: 100-88-78-72-68-66-64-62-60-58-56-54-52-50-48-46-44-42-40.
